Storia:

26/08/1939: Vennere creato a BRESLAU dal Kommandeur der Grenzbefestigungen bei Breslau. Era sottoposto alla 8. Armee (HG Süd) tra SLESIA (Schlesien) e POLONIA (Polen).

01/09/1939: Con lo scoppio del conflitto, all'inizio del mese prese il nome di Generalkommando Gienanth.

27/09/1939: L'Abteilung Ascheberg (A) cambiò denominazione per diventare la Brigade Rothkirch che venne formata dal Grenzwacht-Regiment 14 (costituito dai Grenzwacht-Abschnitten 88 e 98) e dal Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment 183.

10/10/1939: In questa data il Grenzwacht-Regiment 14 e la Brigade Rotkirch vennero disciolti, il Landwehr-Regiment 183 venne sottoposto alla 208. Infanterie-Division.

19/10/1939: Venne impiegato per costituire l'Höhere Kommando z.b.V. XXXVI.
